World’s Largest Property Restoration Company Acquires Local Water Damage Remediation Company
Reno, Nevada – Water Extraction Technologies (W.E.T.), a local water and fire damage restoration company, has been acquired by BELFOR, the largest property restoration company in the world.
Many residents of Northern Nevada have seen the highly-visible W.E.T. vans around town, plastered with the company’s colorful cartoon mascot. In the last 18 years, W.E.T. (Water Extraction Technologies) has grown from a small spin-off from Foote Brothers Construction, to the largest Water and Fire Damage restoration company in Northern Nevada. W.E.T.'s success did not escape the notice of BELFOR, the world’s largest property restoration company, with offices in 27 countries.
The addition of W.E.T.’s Reno and Salt Lake City operations add to BELFOR’s rapidly expanding service coverage throughout the United States and Canada, bringing the total number of North American office to more than 65.
Darren Foote, a Reno native and founder of W.E.T., will continue as Manager of remediation services for BELFOR. Paul Gardner, also a native of Reno, has joined the BELFOR team as Manager of construction services, giving the Reno operations the capacity to handle any property damage restoration job from initial emergency response through completed reconstruction. |
